A new 5 euro coin is something that really impresses. The coin is a commemorative one and it pays homage to the history of Dutch architecture. The coin is called the Architecture Fever and it has a strong relation to the subject ‘Netherlands and Architecture’.

Dutch Architecture 5 Euro Coin Design

The coin was designed by Stani Michiels and the portrait of Queen Beatrix is depicted on it with the help of names of important architects from Dutch history.

The reverse side of the coin is very unusual as well, since it shows how clever and important these architects have been. They published a lot of books on architecture. The designer tried his best to illustrate this phenomenon.
