Fantasy Art Debut

Design, Elements of designing

This week, as you can see, I decided to pay attention to an abstract art – very unusual theme, very popular nowadays! It influenced many people, many famous artists and we can see it almost everyday in our lives, the only one thing – we didn’t pay attention to it! So, are you ready? Fantasy art is to your attention.

Night of love in Fantasy art vision

Fantasy art girl picture

What is it fantasy art? It is a genre of art, that reflects pictures on magical and even supernatural themes: whimsical and unreal creatures,  fictitious world, strange ideas. It is possible to see connection with myths, legends, science fiction, some horror movies, but, fantasy art possesses some features peculiar only to this kind of art. The following elements characterize fantasy art: reflection of both present day motives and ancient motives, which are influenced by various supernatural forces. Such creatures, as: fairies, wizards, elfs, women-warriors and dragons are common guests in fantasy art.

Pixieland in fantasy art

There are various types of fantasy art (FA): painting, books, drawings. There is a point of view, that all pictures of FA are just depictions of books motives. Actually, it is true only to some extent. There are people, which adore fantasy art and they make their own drawings, pictures. There are even special sites, where such people lay their masterpieces. Very often a woman-warrior image is used. Here women are powerful, strong, beautiful, have perfect curves and bodies, are capable of doing almost everything: fighting a dragon, attacking enemies etc.

 Legend defender in fantasy art

Fantasy art can’t be named an official art or a part of “fine art”. Why? Because, nobody hangs its works in galleries, nobody invests it and nobody studies it according to school curricula. Also, it can be confused with a fantastic art – that is really a genre of art, that has its own rather famous representatives and followers.

Fantasy art girl in a midnight hour

Sometimes, fantasy art is viewed as a part of surrealism, but, actually, nobody has approved it. Look at the following pictures, they can seem weird and  fantastic, but, their drawing needs enormous efforts, fantasy and talent. Enjoy the viewing, believe me, they are worth looking at!

This is an insightful and interesting article.

However, the “Fantasy art girl in a midnight hour” was created by someone manipulating my “Lady of the Night” piece. I’d very much appreciate a way to get into contact with its creator.

These are really great works of art, as these works offer the viewer a chance to venture out of our world and visit a different dimension and place which we do not know in normal terms.

Life in Art Deco Style
by Jazzassin
Art Deco: It's the most subtle of all styles of architecture, art and furniture, imho. Always looks modern - almost futuristic, nearly a 100 years after its origin at the World Exhibition 1925. Never goes out of style. Always elegant & stylish in a practical way. The world as a whole should be designed

by Furniture
Japanese shoji screen is made of paper, fabric, or glass on a wooden frame. And you should know that it could be used as a room divider, or for windows or doors. The traditional Japanese house is similar to a very large piece of furniture, especially the floor and the tatami
