It goes without saying that most of Internet statements and “news” unless they come from really authoritative and reliable sources can be just myths/provocations/jokes and etc. Nobody knows where it comes from and what to do with that, but it is the nature of web. Anyway, we can be very careful and check the information thrice before sharing it with people.

Cute clay babies

For example, today I’ve came across an article about cute Marzipan Babies! After the first look at these babies I’ve thought – how could it be? They are SO nice and touching. No, I can’t eat such cute babies.

Cute clay babies

After a couple of hours I found out that they have no to connection to marzipan … They are made by Camille Allen and from clay solely. Frankly speaking, the babies were never made of marzipan or sugar or almond paste.

Cute clay babies

That is … no almond paste. In order to make hair Camille uses soft English mohair. Before this she has been doing big dolls from polymer clay but they never gave her the feeling of protectiveness.

Cute clay babies

I love the line called “Egg Babies”. These cute dolls sit in the egg shell in order most of us to understand how fragile new life is.

The initial price – $99.00

Doesn’t anyone actually read anymore?? She’s telling you that they are NOT marzipan or almond paste, than they are made from CLAY. To me it looks like polymer. They are NOT edible. Also in referrence to the question on price: “The initial price – $99.00″

It’s amazing what actually reading an article will tell you, isn’t it?! -_- Jeez.
