Paper art is much more than cute origami and sweet drawings, for example, it is a mind-blowing IN-EI new collection of table, floor, and hanging lamps by fashion designer Issey Miyake for Artemide.

All these three-dimensional hand-made lamps look attractive, naive and extremely touching. The phase when ordinary paper turns into a stylish lamps leaves me astonished and amazed. They say that the fixture’s material is made from recycled PET plastic bottles and diffuses light beautifully.

By the way, “IN-EI” is Japanese for shadow. Each piece of this unusual collection is impressive and nice to look at.

By the way, these lamps are completely eco-friendly since they have been constructed out of a fibrous fabric made from recycled plastic bottles.

All these masterpieces were created by multidisciplinary artist Guy Laramee has worked as a stage writer, director, composer, a fabricator of musical instruments. It seems to me he carves landscapes better than any other sculptor I’ve seen in years.

I am definitely in love with the following social networking-inspired sticky notes. They look spicy and unusual. Nowadays it becomes more and more difficult to reach someone so unless you call, email, or leave a note, you can’t be 100 percent sure that a person gets your message.

It seems to me these notes were created by Facebook fanatics but this fact doesn’t make them less attractive. Each sticky note looks like a Facebook message, except on actual paper.

The set costs $4 and each set is 3 inches long x 3 inches wide. 100 sticky notes.

I have always been in love with origami and admired with people who managed to create something that unusual from traditional pieces of paper. But here come amazing small origami by Anja Markiewicz and these tiny cuties turn my world upside-down.

Just have a look the following crane, the artist claims that it was created from a 9mm sheet of paper. It goes without saying that all paper sculptures are hard enough to make, so these tiny origami sculptures belongs to the most impressive things I have ever seen.

The main secret behind these origami … Anja uses sheets of paper smaller than an inch in width. The artist carefully and painstakingly folds almost invisible pieces of paper and creates awesome origami only a few millimeters in size.

Origami looks always awesome and when they are that great they are simply amazing. Are you ready to meet Won Park origami who makes them out of dollar bills?

Let me remind you that origami is the traditional Japanese art of paper folding. The main idea behind these small paper figures is to create a paper object without the use of gluing or cutting the paper, and using one piece of paper.

I would love to pay your attention to the fact that Won Park is the real and very talented master of Origami. Some people and mass media also call him the “money folder”,because he easily creates exceptional origami canvas from the United States One Dollar Bill.
