I love all his floral paintings series, they are bright, awesome and shows us how awesome just the petals of a flower can be. He proves that flower can be expanded when they are dissembled. Bravo!

The artist was born in Yuba City, CA, Philip and received his MFA from the Tyler School of Art at Temple University in Philadelphia in 1984. Govedare’s works are very unusual and they balance between the abstract elements and real landscapes.

While looking at the following pictures, you will see awesome, vast and sometimes damaged landscapes of Eastern Washington and Utah. The colours are awesome and so bright.

One can spend hours enjoying her pictures and discovering something new in them. May be her works are so geometrically perfect because Michelle has started her work as a graphic designer.

Her masterpieces show us another world, there are no limits and restrictions in it. Michelle lives in Atlanta and continues creating her works there.

Mark Rothko is a Latvian-born American painter that gave the world numerous Malevich-like pictures. Despite most experts still didn’t want to except Mark, he is treated like an abstract painter.

When Mark was 10-years-old his family moved to the USA (Oregon). After studying Rothko left Oregon for New York and namely there he experienced the atmosphere of art from all cultures and periods. Great influence on Rothko’s works had: German Expressionists and modernist painters.

Most of Mark’s paintings are dark, gloomy, abstract and thought-provoking. But his masterpieces were easily and generally well accepted among critics and just ordinary people. 

Tamara was born in Poland in a wealthy family. She studied in Switzerland and visited Italy with her grandmother. Namely there Tamara fell in love with paintings. After divorce of her parents Tamara moved to Russia and there she met her husband – Tadeusz Łempicki. She lived there until the Bolsheviks arrested her husband during the Russian Revolution. Afterwards she released him and they run to Paris.

De Lempicka started painting and … became one of the best painters in Europe. Meanwhile, her relations with husband came to nought and they got divorced. In 1925 she exhibited her works at the first Art Deco (Paris). In 1939 in the USA de Lempicka met her second husband, Baron Raoul Kuffner, and she was the hottest portrait painter in Hollywood.

She got her first painting lessons from Maurice Denis at the Academe Ranson. Tamara (actually, her real name was Maria Górska) was a follower of Andre Lhote style. She stood on principles of a “safe” cubism. One of greatest fans of Lempicka art is Madonna.
