Let me remind you that origami is the traditional Japanese art of paper folding. The main idea behind these small paper figures is to create a paper object without the use of gluing or cutting the paper, and using one piece of paper.

I would love to pay your attention to the fact that Won Park is the real and very talented master of Origami. Some people and mass media also call him the “money folder”,because he easily creates exceptional origami canvas from the United States One Dollar Bill.

According to the master he draws inspiration from living and not objects!

Have you ever heard of origami pillows? And they tend to be a pure delight and pleasure. The first pillow I would like to introduce to you is a cotton linen feather-filled Origami Pigeon Pillow, with a couple of cute origami birds. The pillow is grey but as to me the following colour is a bit awkward, since the pillow will always look like a dirty one. However, the pigeons are very cute.

The second one is a nice feather-filled Origami squares pillow that will never suit those with allergies. There are squares at the front of the pillow. The colour is warm and much more pleasant than in the first situation.

And the last option is an Origami blossom pillow that boasts cheerful floral pattern with a split at the back for easy access! Would like to enjoy life in the world of origami?

Origami is something really incomprehensible. I love them, they look so good and what I like the most is the fact that it is impossible to find out how they were made. Actually, we call origami some creative things done from paper without any glue.

Most of people claim that this art takes it roots from Japan but some scientists seem to be sure that it came from China. This art implies fantastic process of paper folding and creating some mind-blowing images. The traditional form of origami is based on a square piece of paper and in capable hands of a master it get numerous forms and shapes. I just wanna once again to stress the fact that this art did not involve cutting and pasting.

From the 16th century France and Spain has started learning the art of origami creating. The people of Spain used to fold the paper documents or baptismal certificates. What most people love about origami, they can be created in both complicated and simple form.

Nowadays, you can easily meet special origami paper that is mostly 15cm. Together with paper one can buy patterns of the most common origami things. One of the most famous shapes in Japanese Origami is a Crane. To have a crane in the house means to own a lucky symbol. There is a legend in Japan: if the person makes thousand paper cranes all his or her desires will come true. The origami crane symbolizes peace.

As for the word itself, it comes from the Japanese language, where oru means “to fold”, and kami means “paper”.

I hope you like this small story of such fantastic art and you would love to try one day !!!
