I’ve worked in the fashion industry for twenty years but moonlighting in dumpster diving has served me equally well: the birth of my string lampshade series can be traced to an afternoon in 2003, when I found a string, drum-shape cast aside on a New York sidewalk. She became my muse. Kevin Patrick McCarthy light shade melds the carefully homespun qualities of mid-century strings shades with a modern palette of shapes and colors, and a fashion veteran’s attention to unique. high-quality materials. Tooth lampAre you afraid of dentists? You are! You are not. Have you ever been thinking about their challenging and exhausting work? No, you have only think how it is awful to go to them and treat your teeth, because it is painful, awful and just unpleasant. I know one person and he begins shivering and clattering his teeth while talking about dentists. He can’t stand the procedure of treatment. Sometimes, it seems that he is afraid of them more than ghosts.

The following lamp can be named as the culmination of modern design and art. It is strange and freakish and it is made in the form of a bright white tooth. It works from a usual socket and demands 1 x E27 – max 25 Watt bulb. By the way, despite its small sizes, this lamp is capable of illuminating each corner of your room. Tooth lamp is free standing, made from ecologically-friendly plastic and has only one color – white, the same as your healthy teeth should be.

Tooth lamp is a perfect beginning of your day, it can stand everywhere: on the floor near your bed, on your night table, near main entrance. Owning it will bring your a lot of advantages: tooth lamp is bright and beautiful, it can make you laugh, looking at it you will never forget to visit the dentist. In Japan and China people even sit on it and it is both comfortable and warm. P.S. If you really liked this lamp, you can buy a tooth brush holder to it.

Life in Art Deco Style
by Jazzassin
Art Deco: It's the most subtle of all styles of architecture, art and furniture, imho. Always looks modern - almost futuristic, nearly a 100 years after its origin at the World Exhibition 1925. Never goes out of style. Always elegant & stylish in a practical way. The world as a whole should be designed
SHOJI. Japanese holding screens.
by Furniture
Japanese shoji screen is made of paper, fabric, or glass on a wooden frame. And you should know that it could be used as a room divider, or for windows or doors. The traditional Japanese house is similar to a very large piece of furniture, especially the floor and the tatami
