The Villa is one of the loveliest buildings ever. It is a public building that catches the eye of everybody who goes near it and sees it. As to me it is impossible not to enjoy the following building because it sits at the heart of the Heerlijkheid park in the Netherlands and it is a very unusual and really funky building that contains numerous offices, and a café.

I am ready to bet that you have never think of chocolate as a material for creating masterpieces. Yeah? You have been taking it as a tasty dish, as a way to get rid of depression, but not as a building mixture. I was about the same view right before this exhibition. Great and so tasty, yeah? I just wonder do they really eat them afterwards???

WHY

Frankly speaking, the wish for erecting VERY big buildings is as old as the hills. Big buildings are not simply BIG buildings, they are perfect indicators of power and wealth. Earlier they used to honour leaders or religious beliefs (for instance, why not think about the pyramids in Egypt, the gothic cathedrals of France).

Design, Styles

Believe it or not, but most designers just can’t stand these too plain and simple buildings, they hold little appeal to such designers. They think of them as being too banal and even don’t worth our attention. But, there are some creators, who do things a little differently, they prefer making cracked and eggs houses instead of ordinary apartment ones. Most Bizarre and Outrageous Buildings in the world:

  1. The Crooked House, Sopot, Poland
  2. This house is situated in Poland and was created by Polish architect Szotyńscy Zaleski. Its design was inspired by Jan Marcin Szancer illustrations and the pictures of the Swedish artist – Per Dahlberg. It belongs to one of the most photographed building in the entire Poland, possesses magnificent curves and a blue-green enameled shingles roof. Actually, it was destined to create the impression of a huge dragon, but it failed. The building is always overcrowded and contains a plenty of shops, cafes and bars. And don’t worry, it doesn’t going to fall.

Life in Art Deco Style
by Jazzassin
Art Deco: It's the most subtle of all styles of architecture, art and furniture, imho. Always looks modern - almost futuristic, nearly a 100 years after its origin at the World Exhibition 1925. Never goes out of style. Always elegant & stylish in a practical way. The world as a whole should be designed
SHOJI. Japanese holding screens.
by Furniture
Japanese shoji screen is made of paper, fabric, or glass on a wooden frame. And you should know that it could be used as a room divider, or for windows or doors. The traditional Japanese house is similar to a very large piece of furniture, especially the floor and the tatami
