The MetroShip 48′ x 12′ is exactly such a house and I am going to tell you a couple of words about it.

This sophisticated houseboat was inspired by New York loft spaces and was built in 7 years. MetroShip belongs to GDM Ltd. and it was created in 1995 by David Ballinger. The ship is a completely hand-made one that comes with translucent aluminum grid panels, premium panoramic windows, and one-piece fiberglass roof system.
