I love rain, the ambience it creates and the possibilities it gives – I can think that our sky is alive and it cries, the way people do … but I hate when the weather is rainy and it is pitch-dark around. In such situations I dream of my comfy car or at least un umbrella that will guide my way.
Designer Sang-Kyun Park has already found the way out and designed an umbrella that is called the LightDrops. The following invention uses the energy of falling rain drops and convert it into electricity so when rain starts, it shines. The umbrella is equipped with special LED lights. The heavier the rain the brighter these lights shine.
The idea is brilliant but I just wonder wether the following lamps are not harmful? I hate the opportunity to be hurt by such nice device.
