Robert Terrell is a talented and bright contemporary artist. Most of his life he was painting and drawing. He has a “college degree” in the school of art and worked with and for many art galleries. But Roberts claims that most of his painting techniques he developed in the “worldly” school. Robert himself associated his life with art Kauffman Gallery in Houston, namely there he taught the grounds of the art business.

Essence of abstract art

According to Robert Terrell painting must give people that amazing feeling of novelty and new finding, every day, every month, every time they look at it. I want my art to be rich in associations. I try to achieve it through rhythmic textures, painterly qualities and subtle color shifts. I adore creating something new to attract people to my paintings.

While making something in abstract art style I prefer using bold lines and not very modulated colours. Many people accused Robert Terrell paintings of being too cartooned. And he tends to agree with them, but only to some extent. Main aim of Robert Terrell is to create such masterpieces that nobody can explain but everybody likes and feels.
