Green is not only a popular tendency of modern society it is a useful and healthy way of living that helps people save both money and energy and make their home a better place. Think of the following 5 ways to go green in the kitchen:

  • drink clean

Our usual tap water contains a lot of contaminants, so apart from the fact that it is really dangerous to drink it, it is not tasty at all. Think of buying a special filter or bottled water.

Go Green in the Kitchen

  • green detergent

Most dishwashing detergents contain phosphates and they can cause a lot of harm when released into local waterways. Think of buying a bit greener detergents such as Ecover Ecological Automatic Dishwasher Powder and Seventh Generation Free.

Go Green in the Kitchen

  • recycling

Try to get the most of your food remnants and always think twice before throwing them into a waste bin. For example, ordinary coffee grounds and banana peels can be perfect soil conditioners for houseplants. Also you can install a special Automatic Composter.

  • glass

Never store your food in plastic, and think of usual glass or ceramic containers. Never forget that most types of plastic can’t be recycled.

Go Green in the Kitchen

  • arrange everything

Create a convenient recycling center out of your kitchen and in such a way you will easily make your kitchen as green as possible.

Good luck and live green!!!

Life in Art Deco Style
by Jazzassin
Art Deco: It's the most subtle of all styles of architecture, art and furniture, imho. Always looks modern - almost futuristic, nearly a 100 years after its origin at the World Exhibition 1925.
