Nowadays, it is hardly possible to find out a person that has never heard about John Pomp or at least has never seen his “glass masterpieces”. John Pomp is a famous glass artist. Looking at his vases and other products, you can feel and even see that thanks to John, glass has not only a form, beautiful design, but a soul as well. John works with different colours, he plays with them and makes incredible things. Recently, he opened his own store of glass products, all the things there are made with his own hands, they are beautiful and bright. This shop will offer the biggest assortment of Pomp’s works, it is impossible to find some of them in Barneys New York and Aero in SoHo.

What is more, John will be a teacher. I mean, he opened a studio for those, who wants to be real glass-blowers, it is situated behind the Pomp storefront and called 160 glass. To Pomp it is a some kind of laboratory. Pay attention, the whole lessons will be free of charge and available to everybody. These lessons can help them to become successful glass-blowers in the future. As we can see, John is a kind guy and he is not afraid of rivalry! :-) This February, John Pomp made a special, unusual St. Valentine’s glass blowing day. Couples could come to his studio and make something interesting together. Funny thing, if they finally, got separated, who took that vase or glass product?

During the last 10 years, John has been working and living in New York, his works are thought-provoking , they are of organic style and have pure, functional, minimalist forms. All these bulbs, silhouettes, balls are a perfect emphasize of any interior.
