Robots can’t be fun, bright and amazing? Not, it’s not right. Robots are new way of expressing your thoughts and ideas, what is more, they can give new life to very old things. They can make an old wheel, bowl or something like this shining. Just enjoy!

Soon, robots will leave among us: people begin treating them like a normal and even integral part of everyday life. Numerous ads, books and even movies are responsible for this. Lockwasher Design Lab makes incredible robots, they can become both your friends and a beautiful decoration of your home. The founder of the Lab is Paul Loughridge. Very often people mispronounce his name and the name Lockwasher was given by a classmate, so, it sounds well. Paul enjoys creating new stuff from old stuff. Actually, Paul attended art classes, but he believes, that a real genius has nothing from the University and everything from his birth and since childhood. To tell the truth, process of robots creating is challenging and exhausting, sometimes, Paul can spend the whole day, while creating a small detail to one robot. Paul takes materials from the nearest Flea Market or his own garage and inspiration from his surroundings, childhood and friends.

Hello, dear Lou Calvert! I am so sorry for disappointing you, but I am neither Paul nor his official representative. I am just a devoted fun of his works! But, here you can find the official web-site http://www.lockwasherdesign.com/ and contact Paul directly via email lokwsher@yahoo.com . Good luck!

    Hallo,

I’m looking to your picture “http://artstyleonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/amazing-robot-face1.jpg” and I find it very interesting.

I would love to use this picture on a website for education in the faculties of cybernetics at the university of applied sciences in Jena (Germany). This is a non-commercial website only for education purpose.
If you agree to this usage, I can send you the first drafts of the design.

    Best regards from Germany
