I am ready to bet that you can imagine a wooden house but I guess you have never thought to see a house made of books? Can you imagine it: everything in the following building is made of books: chairs, tables, wardrobes … You are welcome to meet Livio De Marchi project.

Wooden casa

Livio de Marchi is a Venetian artist and he has his own workshop where he creates wooden things. Before realizing his dreams he studied art and drawing at the “Accademia di Belle Arti” in Venice. And even here his talent shone threw because nobody else was capable of moulding materials the way he did. All his sculptures and even a house are whimsical and deserve admiration.

Wooden casa

Livio de Marchi has his own studio where he allows his fantasy to run free. He has a hidden possibility to “see” the “inner” of any thing and material.

SHOJI. Japanese holding screens.
by Furniture
Japanese shoji screen is made of paper, fabric, or glass on a wooden frame. And you should know that it could be used as a room divider, or for windows or doors. The traditional Japanese house is similar to a very large piece of furniture, especially the floor and the tatami
