I bet you a pardon but you’ve missed a lot in case you’ve never heard of Adam Kalkin and his fantastic architecture. Namely Kalkin is the designer of a famous Quik house, as well container house. I am talking about a completely unusual house that takes care of both your money and place.

Container house

This masterpiece is situated in Brooklin, Maine home, and it was built in 2003. After a closer look at the following house you can easily notice that it consists of some parts. However, it is impossible to see these parts with the naked eye. The house was created by stacking a numerous orange ‘reclaimed’ shipping containers together.

As a result the designer made a clean, eco-friendly and completely unique house in a T-shape thus putting instead of some steel panels large windows. The house looks festive and spacious. Some claim it is lack of walls, but I don’t think it is a problem.

Container house

What I like the most about it – is its price, you can buy it almost for nothing!!! Are you ready,  this stunning home costs about $125/square foot.

Life in Art Deco Style
by Jazzassin
Art Deco: It's the most subtle of all styles of architecture, art and furniture, imho. Always looks modern - almost futuristic, nearly a 100 years after its origin at the World Exhibition 1925. Never goes out of style. Always elegant & stylish in a practical way. The world as a whole should be designed
SHOJI. Japanese holding screens.
by Furniture
Japanese shoji screen is made of paper, fabric, or glass on a wooden frame. And you should know that it could be used as a room divider, or for windows or doors. The traditional Japanese house is similar to a very large piece of furniture, especially the floor and the tatami
