Tomas Maier is a creative director of Bottega Veneta and you suppose, I will either write something about him or clothes from this brand. But, you are not right! This brand is too diverse and (It was a surprise for me) and may be I will surprise you as well – Bottega Veneta produces furniture and I must confess, I am on the brink of falling in love with it. It is anything but clear, what unites the Bottega Veneta furniture, jewelry, clothing and accessories? The answer is simple: a desire for good design, quality and functionality.

At the St. Regis New York Hotel you can stay at the Bottega Veneta Suite (price ranges from $ 5,500 to $6,500 per one night). To tell the truth, pieces of Bottega Veneta furniture are mixed with the existing St. Regis Louis XVI-style furniture. This suite is a luxurious one! Enjoy!!!

This night I could not sleep. Why? Because of Vladimir Kush pictures. They stunned me and impressed me greatly. They are amazing and incredible. I have never seen something like this. Any picture is thought-provoking and worth viewing, it is full of details, sometimes unexpected but still adorable. It is a real pleasure to look at them and find something new.

The following video is a gathering of the brightest pictures from Vladimir Kush. You can take a cup of tea, some sweets or cookies and to enjoy this relaxing video!

It is impossible, but to mention, that nowadays, more and more people pay attention to the environmental problems. I mean almost in each sphere of live: cars, technique, industry and even living. So, green building or ecohomes are a common practice.

What it is all about?

As for me, people have finally understood, that natural resources are exhaustible and namely our own children will live in such conditions and breath this polluted air. Some of people have understood. But, it is just a first step. Ecohomes must increase the efficiency of buildings and reduce the use of energy, water, make people healthier (because of the non-toxic materials usage) and environment cleaner.

Art Deco Style used to be a popular one in the 1920s and 30s. It covered almost the whole spheres of human life: interior design, architecture, fashion, movies, furniture, painting and even industrial art. This style was a combination, a successful mixture of the existing styles and peak of is popularity was in the 1920s. Art Deco Style was one of the styles, lack of political orientation. Its name came from the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes (took place in Paris, in 1925).

I’ve worked in the fashion industry for twenty years but moonlighting in dumpster diving has served me equally well: the birth of my string lampshade series can be traced to an afternoon in 2003, when I found a string, drum-shape cast aside on a New York sidewalk. She became my muse. Kevin Patrick McCarthy light shade melds the carefully homespun qualities of mid-century strings shades with a modern palette of shapes and colors, and a fashion veteran’s attention to unique. high-quality materials.
