Inspiration Falls Indoor Wall Fountain Stainless Green Slate L

We used to call a huge stream of water a waterfall. As a rule, waterfalls are big, with a powerful water stream and dangerous for an average person. Some waterfalls even don’t have a viewing platform and are closed to people. There are artificial waterfalls, which were made by people, they are beautiful as well. And there is the last type of waterfalls – home waterfalls, these waterfalls can made of different material, can put emphasize on your room or turn it into a completely vulgar place.

We already know about Fengshui, Japanese bedrooms and Zen principles. But, as for me, they all are rather vague. Sometimes it is even impossible to find out, which style does this room, thing or a piece of furniture belongs to. But one thing I know for sure, there are some special screens, or as the Japanese call them – Shoji screens! When one see this screen you perfectly know where he is and what a style of this room is.

Shoji_screen

History if these screens started at the times of Han dynasty (200BC – 200AD). They were made from paper, rice paper. They were seen at the most honorable and glorious events. There are a lot of variations of Shoji screens, some of them: fusumaShoji Screen.3JPG and tobusuma. Earlier such screens were used as partitions, brightly decorated with native paintings. They were rather heavy and made mainly from wood. They served many functions, being used as back stages while dances or performances, for tea ceremonies, to separate one room into different spaces. There were even different types of folding. By the way, despite there gentle and even subtle look, these screens are really durable and strong, it is achieved through the usage of unique technique.

With the development of trade between eastern and western countries, different objects from the East began flooding our countries. They were not just exotic and unusual, they were practical and durable. They brought light into our flats and homes. And they became popular, very popular. But we use them as decorations, beautiful details. We perfectly understand – they make us happy, they bedazzle us. It seems impossible, but somehow they create relaxing atmosphere and help to hide from the busyness of the outside world.

There exists another view onto Shoji screens, for a long period of time, they were used as objects, supporting walls. They have a wooden framework with a transparent rice paper on it. Often they are used together with special Shoji lamps.

As to my mind, the increasing popularity of Shoji screens and Japanese furniture at all, can be explained by its extraordinary calmness, simplicity, even peacefulness. They give us a feeling of tranquility and help to get rid of every day deals, work etc. They give us a calm oasis in the middle of big city hustle and bustle. I am fond of oriental furniture and their style! One day I would like to visit Japan!

Bedroom, is a place where you, your family, even your favorite pets and toys can rest and calm down, or just recuperate after a challenging and nervous day. Nowadays, the bedroom is not just a room to sleep in. Here you can relax and spend some time with your beloved person, a book or a TV set, as you wish. Sometimes it seems to me, that Japanese Designs can take you to the Heaven.

It is one of the main Japanese rules – when making something, to make it well, to thought over even a minor detail. speaking about bedrooms, it must be a safe place, where you to understand – our world is not evil at all and its doors is open to everybody, here one must feel safe and sound. Japanese mottos in designing are: simplicity, good taste, harmony with our nature.

Japanese Furniture and Japanese Home Decor

Remember, everything must be chosen very carefully, each detail has its own destination and location. Each of them is produced to match every other detail in this furniture set. As an example, can be taken a set of the Japanese Furniture, named Ansu. It has a translation “Something New”. As a rule, each Japanese bed has a platform, perfect contour of lines, ideal shape and design. Rest, ease, peace are synonyms to Japanese beds.

While talking about Style of Japan it impossible to forget about “The Raku” – it is popular Japanese Tatami Bed. Raku is a Japanese word, and in English it means “Simple Comfort”, and our Japanese Tatami platform bed is the perfect expression of simple comfort. Simple as in easy to set up and enjoy, comfort as in lie back and relax. Embodying the Zen principles of simplicity in style and harmony with the world around us and nature. This is our traditional Japanese style bedroom

By the way, have you ever heard about Zen Principles? I really like them. There are seven main principles: simplicity, radiation of truthfulness and the best people’s feelings. The second one is imbalance. Do you know there is always an ideal to follow? Everything and everybody on the Earth must have a strong desire to achieve it. But nature tells us – there is no perfection. The third one is nature. Try to be as close to it, as possible. Even if you live at the 19th floor in the center of New-York, try to buy furniture, linen and things of natural material. Austere – this point doesn’t need any comments. Creativeness. Get rid of limits, just forget about them. You are an inventor; let your creativity to shine through. Calmness. It is no need to hurry. When you are calm, you can think sober and make perfect decisions. Penetration. Look at the inner essence of things, feel them, and perceive them.

So, if you want to make something in the Japanese style, follow these seven principles. Always remember furniture and other things must be natural products. This furniture will in no way harm your health. Interesting fact, as a rule, such furniture does not have any nails, screws or steel dowels. Its parts are joined together with a help of special locks and due to genius construction.

Once, I slept on one of these rooms! First of all, it was so unusual and even uncomfortable. But in the morning I got up rested, relaxed and just happy. They say, it is because of the right position of my body and each part of it. This posture didn’t prevent my blood from circulation, so my body was pleased. I mean it! these beds are incredible, noticeable and take care about our health, what can be better?

Living_room_fengshuiA person’s life path or destiny is determined by three influences of luck. There are Heaven, Earth and Human. Heaven luck is determined by time, including time of birth, associated to gifts, blessings and karma incorporated into our lives when we breathe in the first chi. Earth luck is determined by location, where we stay and work, in which feng shui could play a role to harness this luck. Human luck depends noticeably on our up-bringing, character, education and hard work.

The trinity of heaven, earth and human luck when synchronized together will result in excellent harmony. Fengshui, when applied correctly not only enhance earth luck. But Fengshui could also promote the three kinds of luck to complement each other to result in blessing and bring us towards the upper end of our life destiny.

A Fengshui analysis examines the macro environment, for example external area of a building and micro environment, for example building and interiors or the time-related factors for example current “Feng shui period” according to lunar calendar and birth of the building and people factors for example birth date and gender of occupants. Adjustments, enhancement, remedy and cures would then be applied to synchronize occupant with environment and time to achieve improvement in life.

fengshui designThe fundamental theories of fengshui involves knowledge of the taoist “bagua”, surrounding “theory of yin and yang”, “five elements” and “eight trigrams”. Yin and yang to make it clear that illustrate the evolution of all things that exist and the importance of balancing yin and yang aspects of our lives. Meanwhile, theory of five elements hold the key to remedying and enhancing chi. Eight trigrams represent the transitional phases and movement of chi in heaven, earth and human.

accessories_fengshuiTwo classical school of traditional Feng shui / Fengshui named San He (Landscape or Form School) and San Yuan (Compass School) had carved out the path to most of today’s practiced Feng shui tips and resources in a Fengshui consultation. Flying Star (Xuan Kong Fei Sin) and Eight Mansions (8 Houses or Pa Chai) as a result of the combination of classical studies are used widely today. Eight Aspirations Theory which was derived later (back in Ching Dynasty) had also been incorporated with much success in the practice of Fengshui to generate wonderful results in modern living.

Today, Fengshui is only one part of your life and business to be success.
