Crystal Virus from Pieke Bergmans

I have never thought that glass can be that nice and alive … Pieke Bergmans collections can easily change your world perception. I am completely crazy over their series of virus-formed crystal vases easily crawling over tables, chairs and other objects. But such masterpieces never disappear without leaving a trace – in our situation black burned stains.

All the vases are hand-made at Royal Leerdam Crystal. Such vases show the contradictions between materials, between furniture and glass. All these vases are viruses they penetrate deep in our houses and leave their own marks on your furniture. Everybody concerned can have their own item infected and even enjoy the process of glass blowing.
