Crayon series from Christian Faur are both spectacular and frightening at the same time. Crayons have the three-dimensional nature and with their help it is possible to create a realistic portrait and to depict even face expression and eyes. But I still feel that such pictures are artificial and eyes look like two big black hollows and they are so frightening.
However, the image is not an image at all when viewed closely, what is more I can even say it completely disappears and we are able to read the horizontally sequenced crayon text and multicoloured crayon combination.
