Frankly speaking most scientists claim that cold war was one of the saddest episodes ever. But artist were not mute even in such troublesome times. Now we can enjoy the exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum completely devoted to works of artists, architects and designers working right at the end of the Second World War and who were influenced by the Cold War.

I can’t not but pay your special attention at the following iconic objects – an ineffably stylish furniture by Charles and Ray Eames or the scarf to commemorate the ‘World Festival of Youth and Students for Peace’, 1951 by Pablo Picasso.
